Jonathan Law is excited to welcome a new School Psychologist – Ms Spiewak. 

This is Spiewak’s third year as a School Psychologist, but her first year at Jonathan Law. Spiewak is a psychologist, but she mainly focuses on social and emotional health and how to learn to manage it. 

“I support all students in many ways, but more specifically, related to their social-emotional functioning and how they learn best,” Spiewak said. 

Spiewak works inside and outside of school, helping students succeed if they need extra support. 

“I then work with families and school staff to determine if students need additional support/services to meet that success,” Spiewak said.

Spiewak loves helping students and their families understand how they learn.

“One of my favorite parts of my job is being able to work with students and their families in understanding how their student learns and what that looks like within the school setting,” Spiewak said.

Spiewak said she has felt welcomed by the Law community in her first few weeks at school. 

“At Law I have felt very welcomed and supported by all the other staff, especially those within my department,” Spiewak said.
