Senior Ava Daniele is the Choir Manager for the Law Choir. Advocate Social Media Editor-In-Chief Taylor Mola interviewed Daniele about the Choir.

TM: What is your job as the Choir Manager?

AD: My job as manager is to over see the Choir. I am like Ms. Jones’ right hand man. I am there to help her out wherever she needs me and I help run warm ups and class the absence of her and the Section Leader.  

TM: What advice would you give to new people joining the Choir?

AD: The best advice I could give it to introduce yourself to others and be confident. Some of my best friends are friends I have met in Choir. As for confidence, Jones will always say confidence is key. Being confident helps you succeed in Choir. It helps you learn the music better and it creates more entertainment for your audience.

TM: Besides the singing, what else is choir truly about?

AD: Choir is truly about family. In short periods of time we become a very close knit group. A family. We have so much fun together, both inside class and out, and without that bond we would lose what helps us stand out from other choirs. 

TM: What are some events your planning for Choir?

AD: Our most exciting event is our music department trip to Nashville that will be towards the beginning of march. We usually go on a big trip like this every three years, but every year we go to see a musical on Broadway and to Six Flags for our competition.

TM: What are you most excited about for this year?

AD: This year, besides the trip, I am most excited to work alongside Ms. Jones and the rest of the amazing Choir Board as Manager.
