Alicia Francisco is the Head Coach for the Jonathan Law girls soccer team. News Editor Ryan Woods interviewed Francisco on the fall soccer season.

Ryan Woods: What are your main goals for the team this season?

Alicia Francisco: Our main goals for this season are to improve each day and each game, while also staying healthy.

RW: What are the team’s biggest strengths going into this season?

AF: Going into the season, we are excited to welcome back Emily as the school’s leading scorer. We look forward to watching her score more this season.

RW: What challenges do you expect the team to face this season?

AF: Depth might be a challenge this season as we welcome new players to the game.

RW: What are you most excited to see from the team this year?

AF: I’m excited to see the girls’ excitement and enthusiasm on and off the field.

RW: What do you think the team needs to improve on the most this season?

AF: Right now, our team needs to focus on getting healthy so we can stay consistent on our positioning. It’s hard to focus on positioning when players have to try different positions they are not used too.
