Math teacher Ms. Mushinski is excited to be back at Law after a year teaching at North Haven High School. 

This year, Mushinski is teaching Geometry and Algebra 1 and 2 at Law. She said she loves teaching at the high school level. 

“High schoolers are authentic, capable, and hilarious, getting to mentor them, build their math confidence, and cheer them on is the most fulfilling part,” Mushinski said. “I especially love watching that ‘a-ha’ moment when a tough concept finally clicks, or seeing them succeed after working through a challenge.”

Mushinski is looking forward to helping her students learn and also helping out in different ways.

“I am so excited to see my colleagues and returning students, and I can’t wait to get to know my new ones,” Mushinski said. “This year, I’m looking forward to chaperoning dances, coaching Powder Puff, and cheering on my students at their events.” 

Mushinski’s students are excited she is back at Jonathan Law. 

“Ms. Mushinski is a very great teacher and she always helps students when they were struggling,” junior Ryan Woods said. “She is a great person to talk to if you ever need help with anything.”
