Jonathan Law Class of 2026 graduate Jackson Judge recently began his freshman year of college at Southern Connecticut State University, majoring in Finance.

From the beginning of his college search, SCSU seemed to be the right place for Judge.

“Financially, commuting isn’t a problem and I can still work and go to college,” Judge said. “Southern also has a whole new business and finance program that I’m excited to be a part of.”

The former captain of the baseball team decided to focus on his studies this year. Without a sport, Judge has more time for school but also more time to himself.

“My favorite part of college is how much free time I have now,” Judge said. “I’m in Brian’s room everyday playing zombies with him, even though he stinks at it.”

Although high school was just a few months ago for Judge, he’s ready to move on to a new chapter in his life. But Judge still thinks back to the good times at Jonathan Law every once in a while.

“I miss having classes with my friends and seeing all of them every day,” Judge said. “All of my teammates from Law baseball still hold a place in my heart.”
