“Teen Wolf” is a supernatural teen drama that was broadcast on MTV from 2011 to 2017. Created by Jeff Davis, the show features Tyler Posey, Dylan O’Brien, and Holland Roden. It combines typical high school experiences with supernatural aspects such as werewolves, banshees, and other mythical beings, resulting in a combination of action, drama, and mystery.

The story is about Scott McCall, who is a regular high-schooler until his life takes a turn after a werewolf bites him. As he gets used to his new abilities, he also has to defend his friends and his town from supernatural dangers. Throughout his journey Scott handles friendships, love, and the difficulties of becoming an adult, all while trying to remain honest to who he is.

The strong aspects of “Teen Wolf” are the character development and the relationships. Dylan O’Brien gives a fantastic performance as Stiles, making the character so funny and sarcastic that the audience cannot take their eyes off the screen. The relationship between Scott and Stiles also seems genuine, making it a major emotional aspect of the series. The series also has many exciting scenes that keep the audience glued to the screen, especially in the intense fight scenes and the supernatural transformations that take place in the series. The ability of the series to balance the suspenseful scenes with the emotional scenes also makes it stand out from the other teen dramas that are currently popular.The series also has some major strengths in the form of the meaningful themes that it presents to the audience. Some of the major themes include loyalty, identity, and the protection of others. Some of the major lines that capture the major theme of the series include, “We protect those who cannot.” The only improvement that could have been made was the CGI. The graphics when it came to them battling or transforming into wolves was pretty bad. 

People who enjoy vampire shows or even supernatural shows will love “Teen Wolf.” It’s a very comforting show and viewers can easily get attached to the characters because of how relatable they are and how they express themselves. The actors are amazing and the show holds many memories.
