5 QUESTIONS WITH…Senior Caroline Chesson

Caroline Chesson is a senior at Law this year who has spent the last four years incredibly involved in the school community. She is a vital member of the volleyball team, a member of the JLHS Keyettes Club, Book Club, and National Honor Society. Additionally, Chesson is a co-president of Law’s Environmental Club. She recently completed an independent study project of an interactive map of the Silver Sands boardwalk through UConn’s Natural Resource Conservation Academy. Advocate Staff Reporter Maddie Papcun interviewed Chesson about her future.
Maddie Papcun: Where are you going to college?
Caroline Chesson: I will be attending The University of Tampa in Tampa, Florida.
MP: What are you majoring in?
CC: I’m majoring in Marine Science with a Biology concentration.
MP: What are you doing to pass the time at home?
CC: To pass the time at home, I am playing volleyball, watching movies with my family, listening to music and spending time outside.
MP: What is your favorite Netflix show or movie that you recently watched?
CC: I recently finished “The Outer Banks” on Netflix and loved it!
MP: What do you want to say to your fellow classmates and teachers?
CC: To my teachers, mentors, and coaches, thank you for everything these last few years. The opportunities I’ve gotten throughout my time at Law have made me the person I am today. I couldn’t be more thankful for all of your help, guidance and hard work. To my classmates, I will miss you all! Quarantine has made me realize how valuable our time spent together has been and I will cherish all of the great memories. Best of luck to everyone and thank you Law!
