Jean-Luc Montaudy is a senior at Jonathan Law who, for the past four years, has divided his time between attending classes at Law and writing for ECA. As the school year is coming to a close, and many seniors are looking forward to post-high school experiences, and, most of all, the end of quarantine, Staff Reporter, Mayur Somalinga, reached out to Montaudy to see where a student of such requisites sees himself going forward and how he has been spending his time away from school
Mayur Somalinga: Where are you going to college?
Jean-Luc Montaudy: I am going to Eugene Lang College at The New School in New York City.
MS: What are you majoring in?
JLM: I am majoring in Media Studies with a minor in Film.
MS: What are you doing to pass the time at home?
JLM: I am reading, watching films, surfing online libraries, and listening to vinyl music. I’m also donating on Freerice as I would like to help the community in some form during this pandemic.
MS: What is your favorite Netflix show or movie that you recently watched?
JLM: It would have to be “Tiger King.” It’s an enthralling true crime story which I enjoyed watching.
MS: What do you want to say to your fellow classmates and teachers?
JLM: I just want to say salutations and that I hope everyone is getting along okay in these unprecedented times. Best wishes and best of luck!
