Kowalski is a part of the girls volleyball team, and both the indoor and outdoor track teams as a hurdler. Encouraging to her teammates both on the court and the track, she has positive energy about any situation. Advocate Staff Reporter Sydney Simpson interviewed Kowalski about her break from school and her future.

Sydney Simpson:  Where are you going to college?

Tori Kowalski: I’m going to the University of Rhode Island.

SS: What are you majoring in?

TK: I am planning on majoring in Health Sciences/Pre-Medicine track.

SS: What are you doing to pass the time at home?

TK: To pass the time I’ve been sleeping, working out, running, and learning a new hobby (baking/cooking).

SS: What is your favorite Netflix show or movie that you have recently watched?

TK: “Gilmore Girls!”

SS: What do you want to say to your fellow classmates and teachers?

TK: I want to say that I miss everyone but I think it’s really cool that we were able to adjust to this new way to learn and do work. It’s an important time to stay home and stay safe and I find it really cool we can still interact and teach and learn while social distancing.
