Emily Morey is a senior at Jonathan Law High School. She is a three-sport athlete who plays volleyball, softball, and throws shot put for the indoor track team. Morey is very passionate about helping others when they are in need or even just checking in on a friend. Advocate News Editor interviewed Morey about her future. 

Alexis Broderick: Where are you going to college? 

Emily Morey: The college I will most likely attend and will soon commit to is Southern Connecticut State University.

AB: What are you majoring in? 

EM: I would like to major in Social Work or Communications. I am still deciding.

AB: What are you doing to pass the time at home?

EM: To pass time at home I am probably eating way too much (haha) and FaceTiming friends, family, and watching Netflix.

AB: What is your favorite Netflix show or movie that you recently watched?

EM: My favorite Netflix show that I have watched recently is “All-American.”

AB: What do you want to say to your fellow classmates and teachers?

EM: Something I would like to say to my classmates and everyone is that we’re all in this together, I love you guys, miss you guys, and want everyone to remember that in the hard times there is still some light that we can find joy in.
