Minecraft Pocket Edition is a 3D Sandbox Game where gamers can play with friends online or solo with or without internet connection. The company that developed Minecraft is a Swedish company named Mojang and is also owned by XBox Game Studios. Minecraft was initially made by a Java worker named Markus “Notch” Persson and was released in 2009 for PC, but then they developed the game for phones. Eventually, Minecraft was bought by Mojang and Microsoft. 

Minecraft is a very popular game with a massive following on YouTube, Tik Tok, and many other media platforms. There are Minecrafters who have made a living just by making a YouTube account based around their Minecraft prowess. Some of these Minecrafters are Skydoesminecraft, Captainsparklez, and TheBajanCanadian.

Minecraft is a game with endless possibilities and situations. Players can be in Creative Mode and build freely or be in Survival where players need to gather resources, food, build, mine, and fight monsters to stay alive. They can build a portal to go fight the ender dragon and “beat” the game, or go on the online servers and play mini-games. In Minecraft there are roughly 60 different types of biomes, including forest, snowy tundra, mountains, swamp, jungle, taiga, desert. There are also villages; some are different depending on what biome they are in. In the villages, there are villagers who players can trade with, and there are houses, crops and some chests around the villages with resources players can take. There are lots of different animals in the game, including cows, pigs, chickens, wolves, and horses which are tame-able, as well as fish, bunnies, foxes, pandas and many others. 

Overall, the mobile gameplay is satisfactory. Players can do pretty much everything that can be done on the PC version. The only difference is the controls, and in most cases, players prefer the PC controls because it makes a lot of things easier. Minecraft PE is fun and one could spend hours playing without getting bored. It is a game where players can do virtually anything they want. Playing Minecraft is a great way to waste a bunch of time and is perfect for the quarantine situation everyone is in right now.
