ENTERTAINMENT: ‘Safe House’ Continues To Thrill Audiences
By Jesse Doucette – Columns Editor
“Safe House” has proven to be an entertaining hideout for many moviegoers.
Starring two very well-known actors, Denzel Washington and Ryan Reynolds, “Safe House” continues to build suspense throughout the whole movie.
Washington plays Tobin Frost, a CIA agent who was taken off the CIA for distributing important data to other organizations and people. Frost gave away U.S. military intelligence, as well as secrets about North Korea, in exchange for money.
Frost has been on the run for over a decade; he stays in a South American safe house until he is finally founded and attacked by mercenaries.
Frost manages to escape with a man by the name of Matt Weston (Ryan Reynolds). Frost and Weston continue on their way from different safe houses, as the mercenaries continue to hunt them down and retain the secrets and Intel that Frost has.
As Frost and Weston continue to get attacked by what seem to be terrorists, they barely manage to escape sometimes.
Frost and Weston quickly figure out that they cannot trust anyone, as they are being constantly attacked by people who have been sent by terrorists or someone on the inside of the CIA.
Weston and Frost must determine who they can trust and how they can remain alive to get out the Intel on the CIA.
“Safe House” is a near two-hour long movie, which will constantly keep viewers on the edge of their seat wondering what will happen next – or, at the very least, if Frost and Weston can make it out alive.
