ENTERTAINMENT: Harold & Kumar Tell A Christmas Story

By Nick DePascale Columns Editor

The movie, “A Very Harold and Kumar 3D Christmas” came out in theatres on November 4.

The new movie is ridiculously funny with Harold and Kumar going through another crazy adventure. It’s also in 3D, making the movie even better.

The film starts six years after Harold and Kumar get out of Guantanamo Bay. Harold Lee (John Cho) is now a successful Wall Street executive who is now married. Kumar Patel (Kal Penn) is still the same, typical deatbeat kid who hasn’t gotten any further in life. The two best friends reunite and go on a mission to find a 12-foot Christmas tree before midnight mass.

Another main character from “Harold and Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay,” Neil Patrick Harris, is in the movie as himself and has many hysterical scenes where he thinks he came back to life and meets Jesus.

Last but not least, the director of the movie, Todd Schulson, is great at making the 3D scenes funny. For example, he portrays Harold and Kumar as clay characters making fun of each other.

Overall, the movie may seem exaggerated in some scenes, but most of the time, it will make you laugh out loud.
