Jonathan Law High School will be having a joint Holiday Book Fair with Foran High School at the Barnes and Noble in Milford.

This event will take place on Monday, December 5, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Barnes and Noble is located on the Boston Post Road, just past the mall.

The Book Fair will also include a showing of student artwork from both schools, as well as a performance from Law senior Shayreny Bernal.

Ten percent of sales will go towards the two high schools. Shoppers can just mention “LAW” at checkout to help out. In-store shopping will continue to proceed to both schools until December 11th.

“The event is going to be a lot of fun,” said Law media center specialist Mrs. Briggs. “It’s a great way to get all of your holiday shopping done, while contributing to your local school.”

Those who cannot make it to the Fair on the 5th will be able to shop online until December 10 using the voucher number 10626240.

At last year’s fair, Jonathan Law collected a couple hundred dollars, and this year is hoping to make more.

The proceeds will go to each school according to the amount of people who mention their school. The school that has the most mentions will raise more than the other school, so come out to support your school.

“I think it’s great that a portion of the money raised will go to Law,” said senior Emily Pitney. “I am looking forward to going and seeing everyone there.”
