NEWS: Law Cafeteria Makes ‘The Switch’

Jonathan Law has made ‘The Switch.’

A new fruit drink that is “100% of what you want and 0% of what you don’t” now resides on the refrigerator shelves in the cafeteria.

“I love the sparkling juice taste,” said junior Bryan Creevy, “The strawberry-watermelon is my favorite.”

The student body is split between enjoying the fruit drink and not enjoying it. “It’s alright, however, it’s better than the Snapple that the school used to sell,” said senior Mallery Breban.

The cafeteria sold Snapple cans before selling The Switch, and it still is available for the students who are not content with the new drink.

The vendors came to Law last week giving away free samples and selling full cans.

Students were very appreciative of the free samples, but are beginning to regret the school’s decision.

The drink has many varieties of flavors; Lemon-Lime, Fruit Punch, Berry, Black Cherry, Strawberry-Watermelon, Kiwi Melon, Grape, and Orange Tangerine.

There is also a new Apple flavor coming out soon.

“Yes, I like it,” said senior Sam Odice. “It’s fizzy, tasty and good for me.”

The student body at Law is hard to please and many students are enjoying the new drink.

“It tricks you into thinking something bad for you,” said Breban “It’s a faux-soda.”

The Switch is being sold in the café for $1.25.

Only time will tell how much of a hit off The Switch will be, but for the time being, it does not seem to be getting many raves from the Law community.
